DOUGOS ESTATE...A " FRENCHMAN " IN GREECE

Paraphrasing Sting's classic ''Englishman in New York" what I am trying to say is that there is a small family owned estate in the foothills of mount Olympus where some quite interesting things are happening - in terms of the cultivation and vinification of world class organic wines and not only.

It is no coincidence that some of the most renowned people of the wine industry have acclaimed Dougos wines as the Greek Châteauneuf-du-Pape, thus the "a Frenchman in Greece"...

By closely monitoring - over the past 10 years - Dougos Estate's progress  both in wine making and recognitions by the domestic and international markets as well as by having the privilege to consider myself as a friend of the family, my comments may seem rather positively biased, however, the joy I get every time savouring one of Dougos' wines is even bigger  and calls me to urge you trying these "jewels" wherever you find them, either in Greece or in selected restaurants & liquor stores around the world....
