ONE STEP BEYOND for ESTATE MANOLESAKIS with the brand new ''EXIS" duo !!

Estate Manolesakis is a top class vinegrower & procuder based in Adriani village, in the outskirts of Drama, NorthEastern Macedonia, a region well known for its long history in the production of quality wines.

In the ealry 90's the local Drama producers planted some of the world's most important grape varieties and offered to the Greek consumers world class wines, only a few of them though had the idea of planting & reviving indigenous red grapes of the region such as Moschomavro & Limnio, since Drama was already reknowned for its excuisite Assyrtico & Malagouzia grapes, mostly blended though with Sauvigngon Blanc which is very well adapted to the local micro-climate.

Stavros Manolesakis - son of the Estate's founder George - decided to move one step beyond the mainstream Drama wines and created a new duo of fresh wines, exclusively made of selected native grapes, under the brand "exis" an ancient Greek word meaning  An act of having, a state or habit of mind or body, especially a good habit; skill as the result of practice &  experience...

exis wines, by their cutting edge production methods, eye catching  labels & modern packaging were designed to be a part of your every day life and accompany all your precious moments.

Both exis wines will be quite  soon available in both domestic & export markets.

Only a few days left for the opening of the new Ergon "Greek Deli & Cuisine" in central London, at 16 Picton Place, right off Selfridges & St Cristopher's place.

Ergon Greek Deli & Cuisine / London is a creation of Douzis brothers (Thomas & George) together with Dimitris Scarmoutsos - one of Greece's most renowned Chef's - and it is based on exactly the same concept, already successful at the company's shops accross Greece (Thessaloniki - Athens - Chalkidiki - Skiathos - Mykonos & Rhodes).

Ergon's driving force is the constant seeking for the best authentic Greek products & raw materials, the creation of smart recipes combining the wealth & the  tradition of the Greek / Mediterranean Cuisine, yet dressed up in a contemporary outfit and all these, in a cosy & friendly environment of a modern grocery store / tapas bar / restaurant.

We are eagerly waiting to try Ergon's tasteful menu accompanied by a selection of quality Greek Wines & the unique Volkan Superior Beer - the  first beer born in the notorious island of Santorini.
