One of the best versions of the Malagouzia grape variety is the one by Estate Manolesakis, located in the heart of Drama region in North-East Macedonia.
The Manolesakis family is one of the very first to cultivate Malagouzia grapes at its privately owned vineyards in the outskirts of Adriani village, resulting a remarkably fresh white wine with notes
of jasmin, peaches, pears,
citrus,
apricots, white pepper, tropical fruits like mango & green tea. Full-bodied & creamy with balanced acidity and a long lasting aftertaste, Malagouzia Manolesakis is perfect with fresh green salads and seafood or poultry in white sauces at 10-12 C, yet one could enjoy it with slices of fresh fruits.
The fresh vintage 2015 will be soon ready, dressed up in a new eye-catching packaging.
Cheers!
