Odysseas Elytis' words...for Greece!!

" Ιf you  could "cut " Greece off in pieces, in the end you would be left with an Olive tree, a vine & a boat"...

Odysseas Elytis  (November 2, 1911 – March 18, 1996) was a Greek poet regarded as a major exponent of poetic modernism in Greece. In 1979, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature.
