GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Muscat of Alexandria

REGION: Kaminia on the island of Limnos

SOIL: Volcanic, poor & sandy

VINEYARD: Plant density 340 /stremma, Average yield 650Kg/stremma.

MICROCLIMATE:Mediterranean with cool summers & mild winters. Usually sunshine with northeastern winds blowing during the year.

VINIFICATION: Charmant method with two months batonnage “sur lies”.

CHARACTERISTICS : A straw-yellow spumante with greenish tinges and a distinctive character. Its rich, sophisticated bouquet is the result of a perfectly executed vinification technique and the unique character of the Muscat of Alexandria grapes. The sweet aromas of apple, the ripe summer fruit scents and delicate floral nuances make it so pleasantly refreshing, while velvety notes caress the palate in the company of a well integrated acidulous touch, enhanced by a fragrant, persistent beading.

FOOD PAIRING: Accompanies ideally a variety of light dishes, asparagus, marinated salmon, oysters as well as exotic fruits & desserts.
