PREKNIARIKO - ESTATE CHRISOHOOU

PREKNIARIKO CHRISOHOOU; an exceptional dry white wine matured in small french oak casks, made of one of the most rare grape varieties of the Greek North, the unique PRIKNADI.

Nana Chrisohoou, the "new blood" in the Chrisohoou family after her studies in Italy and following her father's Keimis vision, she practically revived this - almost forgotten - grape variety and produced the PREKNIARIKO wine, at an exrememly limited number of bottles.

The proof of her excellent job on the vineyard & the forward vinification methods she exercised, was the recent GOLD MEDAL at the INTERNATIONAL WINE COMPETITION of THESSALONIKI, as well as the SPECIAL AWARD for the wine with the highest rating from a rare indigenous grape variety!!

NEW LABELS for the LEFKITIS duo - ESTATE CHRISOHOOU

Estate Chrisohoou has recently proceeded with the change of the labels of the LEFKITIS duo!!

The new appearence of Lefkitis is much closer to the fresh & aromatic character of both wines, thus making them more appealing to the new consumers, which are its main target group!

The new labels of Lefkitis will be officially presented at the forthcoming LONDON WINE FAIR ( 12 - 14, May 2009)

A unbelievably extensive list of greek wines is available by - the - glass & accompanies their delicious home made mezedes (the greek tapas) making their noumerous friends who flood the place every single day, reminiscing of their holidays in Greece, under the sounds of carefully selected jazzy tunes...
